“What is the stimulus (ARRA)?”
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is federal legislation designed to jump start the national economy by designating $828 billion to:
- Improve roads, bridges and mass transit
- Improve weatherization programs
- Provide tax credits to families and individuals
- Increase college affordability
- Move toward computerizing health records
- Encourage production of renewable energy
